Before The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Ep 11 & 12 Recap & Spoilers

Episode 11 Recap

Episode 11 of “Before The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” had me glued to the screen! It started with a HUGE fight between Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon) and Hye-jin (Jung Ryeo-won).

It was a clash of teaching styles! Jun-ho, the advocate of fun learning, and Hye-jin, the champion of test scores, got into a heated argument. Their secret relationship was at stake, and the tension was intense.

And guess what? The tension didn’t stop at work. We all know things get messy when work drama spills into your love life, and that’s precisely what happened here.

The drama escalated when Hye-jin had to sneak out of Jun-ho’s house due to an unexpected visit from his mother. His mother soon discovered the relationship after finding a woman’s belongings. This led to a confrontation in which Jun-ho firmly requested his parents stop interfering with his career choices, asserting his independence.

Back at the academy, tension brewed as assistant director Wo Seung-hee (Kim Jung-young) schemed against Hye-jin by handing over her meticulously kept notes from the past decade to Pyo Sung-sub (Kim Song II).

Assistant director Wo’s betrayal had severe consequences. Hye-jin’s credibility was at stake, and her career was on the line. The episode ended with a cliffhanger, as Jun-ho stumbled upon a revealing conversation, leaving us in suspense about the future of their relationship.

Episode 12 Recap

This episode completely blew me away! This show keeps getting better and better.

First off, the fight between Jun-ho and Hye-jin? Forget the usual K-drama screaming match! These two handled it like grown-ups.

Jun-ho was frustrated with the rigid curriculum, and Hye-jin defended her practical approach, but they actually listened to each other! It was like a masterclass in communication – refreshing to see a couple work through their issues without unnecessary drama.

Speaking of drama, Assistant Director Wo’s sneaky tactics were a great reminder of the cutthroat world of academia. Ugh, her games were annoying, but they definitely added a layer of suspense! And poor Pyo Sung-sub – stuck between a rock and a hard place with Hye-jin’s notes. This episode really highlighted the ethical dilemmas teachers face.

But it wasn’t all serious! Choi Seung-gyu finally confessed his feelings to Nam Cheong-mi, which was pure adorableness. It was a perfect lighthearted moment that balanced out the intensity of the main plot.

Then, there was Mr. Pyo’s lecture. Wow. That man is passionate! His speech about nurturing critical thinking skills had me cheering. It’s so true – education should be about more than just getting good grades. That scene was a powerful reminder of the impact teachers can have on young minds.

By the end, Jun-ho and Hye-jin were back on track. They admitted their mistakes, recommitted to each other, and seemed stronger than ever. Their growth as a couple is truly inspiring, and it makes their relationship all the more swoon-worthy.

Seriously, where can I find a love like that?

This episode had everything – romance, humor, social commentary, and a healthy dose of inspiration. The writing is top-notch, the acting is phenomenal, and I’m completely hooked.

Final Thoughts & Predictions

Episode 12 was a triumph, offering a perfect balance of drama, romance, and introspection. The show continues to excel in portraying complex characters and real-life challenges, making it a must-watch for K-drama enthusiasts.

Looking ahead, the stakes are higher than ever. How will Hye-jin navigate the treacherous waters of academic politics? Will Jun-ho’s innovative approach to teaching gain acceptance? And most importantly, can their relationship withstand the pressures from both their personal and professional lives?

Will Jun-ho and Hye-jin find a way to harmonize their teaching styles? Will Seung-hee’s schemes succeed, or will she face the consequences of her actions?

Let’s discuss and speculate together as we eagerly await the next installment of “Before The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” only here at Saranghero!
