Han So-Hee Seoul Fan Meeting Ticket Sales Lag Behind

Han So-Hee, one of South Korea’s rising actresses, is facing surprisingly low ticket sales as she gears up for her first official fan meeting in Seoul.

The event, titled “So Hee Loved Ones in Seoul,” is scheduled for September 26 at Yonsei University’s Main Auditorium. Though she has had overseas stops and strong visibility through her roles, the home‐fan response has not quite lived up to expectations.

Tickets opened for sale on September 11 via PAYCO. By September 15, only about 45% of the 1,600 seats had been sold. That means roughly 720 tickets were bought while nearly 880 remained unsold. Sections A, M, and B–C have reportedly seen very few purchases.

As of September 16, reports indicate similarly low sales, just around half of the seats filled.

Tour Cancellations Raised Eyebrows

This Seoul show was meant to cap her Xohee Loved Ones world tour. Stops in Bangkok, Tokyo, and Manila happened.

However, plans for several Western cities did not. Shows in New York, Frankfurt, Berlin, London, and Paris did not push through due to what her agency terms “unforeseen circumstances.” All affected ticket buyers are to receive full refunds.

Some fans and insiders wonder if the disappointment or confusion from those cancellations is coloring fan confidence in future events. The cancellations could well be affecting sales momentum in Seoul.

The Success of Han So-Hee Manila Fan Meeting

Just days before the Seoul sales data started making headlines, Han So-Hee wrapped up her Xohee Loved Ones fan‐meeting at Cove Manila, Okada on September 13. The event showed strong fan engagement.

Han So-Hee seemed moved by her fans and took time to connect. She shared personal reflections, played games, selected characters from past roles, and even sang covers with them.

She said the event was a “return gift” to those who have supported her. The experience was clearly emotional for both her and the attendees.

Why Might Han So-Hee’s Seoul Ticket Sales Be Slower?

Here are some possible reasons for the slower ticket sales in Seoul, from an industry perspective:

  • Expectations vs Reality
Seoul is Han So-Hee’s home base. Fans may expect a larger venue, a more elaborate production, or a longer promotional lead time. When overseas stops are canceled, fans may feel uncertain about future events.
  • Cancelled Overseas Dates
The cancellations can shake fan trust. Some fans may pause buying tickets and watch how things unfold.
  • Pricing or Seating Issues
Some sections remain mostly unsold. These tend to be farther from the stage or have less favorable views. If prices are steep relative to those seats, fans may hesitate.
  • Competition and Timing
Seoul is a big market with many events, especially for stars crossing over from K‐drama to fan meeting worlds. Other fan meetings, concerts, releases, or even drama premieres might be competing for public attention and entertainment budgets.

What This Means for Han So-Hee

Han So Hee has gained strong critical praise and fan loyalty through her roles in My Name, Nevertheless, Gyeongseong Creature, and more. Her acting credibility is high.

However, fan meetings are a different kind of test. They rely heavily on emotional connection, trust, and effective promotion.

This slowdown in sales does not necessarily spell trouble. It is a moment to reflect on marketing strategies, ticket pricing, venue choice, and fan communication. If she can use her Manila show’s momentum and show a genuine connection with fans at home, it can still turn into a decisive moment.

It’s common for events with big names to face slow starts in ticket sales, especially when cancellations or unexpected schedule changes happen elsewhere. If her team moves swiftly and listens to fans, this could still become a highlight of her world tour.
